Tax Levies

Taxpayers can now see a personalized cost estimate for tax levies proposed for the November 3 General Election. In case you've not had a chance to look, the Board of Elections has a helpful list of certified questions and issues here.

From the Hamilton County Auditors website's home page, taxpayers can use the "Property Search" feature to find their parcel. Once on their parcel's page, they can select "Levy Information" under the "View" section to find relevant information including a levy's type, millage rate, and estimated cost.

 

Budget

In late spring the annual Tax Budget is prepared and presented to Council for 3 readings, an open hearing and approval. The Budget is then submitted to Hamilton County in July.  In December, the Budget for the following year is submitted to Council for adoption of the  final appropriations.
